The Hôtel Masson is the oldest hotel in the Montreux-Vevey region, and the first guest house built on the Riviera almost two centuries ago. Listed as part of the region's architectural heritage and recognised by ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) for its extraordinary state of preservation and hospitality, it is a testament to a hotel tradition that will soon be two hundred years old. In 2029, the Hôtel Masson will celebrate its 200th anniversary. From the early days of the Belle Epoque, through the Roaring Twenties and the periods of crisis during the World Wars, the Masson has weathered many difficult times, and can now look back with pride on an authenticity that is far from the norm.
