Welcome !

hotel-masson_soirThe Hôtel Masson in Veytaux-Chillon is the oldest historic hotel in the Montreux-Vevey area. It is part of the regional architectural heritage; it has been selected by the International Council for monuments and sites, and with the date 1829 engraved in its walls, the Masson is an authentic testimony to the hotel building industry of the Belle Époque. Constantly renovated throughout the 19th century and continually adapted to the taste of its guests, the hotel nevertheless kept its 1875-wrought-iron balcony, its oak floorboards, its granite staircase, its original furniture, its collection of paintings, the Viennese chairs of its dining-room, and its plaster mouldings of 1906.

The rooms

All the rooms are furbished with good taste: bath room, shower, WC, phone with direct dial, cable tv (Swiss, French, German, English and American channels), radio and alarm clook, minibar and safe.

Rooms orientated to the South with gorgeous view on Lac Léman and the French Alps. You will enjoy the original 19th century Belle Epoque furniture.

The “romantic” rooms are as comfortable and cosy as the South-side rooms.
They face the Chillon Castle on the sunrise side and on the bay of Montreux, the Jura mountains and the lake Geneva on the sunset side, the calm village, its gardens and the Rochers de Naye (skiing resort on 2000 m over Montreux) on the North side.

Each bathroom matches the room in its decoration and style.

Dining and living rooms

Breakfast is served between 7:15 and 9:45 AM in the dining room or in your room. The “buffet” is composed, among others, of home made marmelade and freshly baked bread.

Each evening from 7:00 and 9:00 PM a 4 dish menu (fresh from the market) is served in the dining room.

Two living rooms furnished with original 1900 furniture leads to a covered balcony with view on the lake and on the Alps.
