The Hôtel Masson in Veytaux-Chillon is the oldest historic hotel in the Montreux-Vevey area. It is part of the regional architectural heritage; it has been selected by the International Council for monuments and sites, and with the date 1829 engraved in its walls, the Masson is an authentic testimony to the hotel building industry of the Belle Époque. Constantly renovated throughout the 19th century and continually adapted to the taste of its guests, the hotel nevertheless kept its 1875-wrought-iron balcony, its oak floorboards, its granite staircase, its original furniture, its collection of paintings, the Viennese chairs of its dining-room, and its plaster mouldings of 1906.

Each of its 31 rooms (60 beds) is unique and gives the guests a complete change of scenery to a genuine Belle Époque hotel room, thereby allowing them to enjoy an out-of-time experience while at the same time benefiting from all modern conveniences, such as a private bathroom, Swiss-French-German-English/American TV channels, WIFI throughout the building, a minibar or a safe. A spacious sauna and Jacuzzi is available to interested guests.

The large garden with its hundred-year-old trees and astounding view on the Alps and the Leman Lake tempts you to rest and leisure, and the fresh-from-the market cuisine perfectly complements the homemade bread and jam. A private car park is available for guests and the Montreux train station is only 15 minutes away by public transportation.
